ABS BALANCE®
Starting from sustainable and circular raw materials such as vegetable oils and by-products of the agri-food industry, Versalis produces the ABS Sinkral® Bio based that is part of the BALANCE® product family.
The ABS Balance grades have a 65% share of Bio based raw material, certified according to the ISCC + scheme.
Description
The production of ABS Sinkral BALANCE® is part of a circular economy model since the bio-naphtha used to produce the polymers derives from waste or by-products of industrial processing of organic substances (exhausted oils and fats) that don’t impact on the food supply chain.
The ABS BALANCE® have the same technical and processability characteristics as the standard grades produced from fossil sources, therefore, passing from a fossil to a Bio-based product it is not necessary to carry out new certifications.
