Description
ULTRAMID® PA6 has excellent processability, high impact and puncture resistance, excellent mechanical properties even at low temperatures, high attenuating power, good electrical insulation properties and good chemical resistance to organic and inorganic compounds (but poor in acids and humidity due to its hygroscopicity).
It has a slight antistatic behavior which depends on the percentage of water absorbed.
Polyamide-polyethylene multilayer films can be recycled into the polyethylene stream if the amount of PA does not exceed certain amounts.
