EVA BALANCE®
Starting from sustainable and circular raw materials such as vegetable oils and by-products of the agri-food industry, Versalis produces the EVA Greenflex® Bio based that is part of the BALANCE® product family.
EVA Balance® grades have a share of Bio based raw material between 72% and 95%, certified according to the ISCC + scheme.
EVA GREENFLEX BALANCE® has the same technical and processability characteristics as the standard grades produced from fossil sources, therefore, passing from a fossil to a Bio-based product it is not necessary to carry out new certifications.
Description
The production of GREENFLEX BALANCE® is part of the circular economy model since the bio-naphtha used to produce the polymers derives from waste or by-products of industrial processing of organic substances (exhausted oils and fats) that don’t impact on the food supply chain.
