Extir® is the commercial name of the expandable polystyrene (EPS) of Versalis and it’s on the market since more than 50 years with a wide range of products developed for the most important industrial applications.
Products made with Extir® have great thermal insulation properties and high impact resistance.
The Extir® beads are spherical and it’s possible to choose among different diameters for every kind of application.
Versalis EPS use an aliphatic hydrocarbon as expanding agent and it doesn’t contain CFC or HCFC.
The processing of Extir® is characterized by low energy demand and low environmental impact.
